I believe God is releasing a wave of childlike faith across His people. God is calling His “children” to come to Him! I feel so strongly in my heart the emphasis on the importance of “coming to Him as CHILDREN” ringing out from the Heavens right now. I feel an awakening in my spirit as He has been showing me the freedom and power in coming to Him boldly with childlike faith.
“In Him and through FAITH in Him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.” Eph 3:12 NIV
To be “childlike” means; to be teachable, trusting, and to have qualities typical of a child, especially positive qualities such as innocence and eagerness, delight, wonder and excitement.
THE PLAYGROUND.
I heard the words “CHILDLIKE FAITH IS RELEASING CHAINS”. Then the Lord showed me a detailed vision. I saw children running around playing with such a delight and freedom in what looked like a large outdoor activity playground. This playground had everything! Creative areas, building areas, reading and quiet spaces. Teaching zones, interactive zones, obstacle courses, training areas, sports, archery, mountain climbing… you name it, this playground had it!... and it stretched as far as the eye could see.
TAKE THE KEY.
Then in a spot just outside of this main playground area. I saw an adult in a dark corner. This person was tied up in chains. I saw the adult calling out for help. A child close by heard this cry and ran over to the Teacher who was teaching under a big tree. The child pointed over at the grown-up in chains and said to the Teacher “Can we help him?” “Yes we can,” He said. Then the Teacher placed a key in the child’s hand and whispered into her ear. The child was filled with great delight and excitement and went running over to the adult in chains. The child then unlocked the chains and they fell to the ground. The man went to stand up, and as he did, the child whispered in his ear “He heard your cries for help, now come - be like a child, have faith like me, take the key, you are set free”. Then the child handed the key to the adult, squealed with delight and ran off back to the playground. The key had an inscription...
“Matthew 18:3-4”.
"Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”
LEARNING TO WALK AGAIN.
The adult was curious about this little child and started to move forward to follow. But he found he really struggled to walk and even put one foot in front of the other. He could barely stand. It’s as though the adult had forgotten how to walk and had to learn all over again. He sat for a bit, and as he did he could see the children in this playground. He could see the them jumping through and over obstacle courses which seemed very difficult. He could see other children sitting under a tree being taught by a Teacher. Other children were making incredible things, being so creative, dancing, singing and playing instruments. Children were building things, hitting targets in archery, running around in full armor and so much more. He could see a HELPER next to each child, and when things looked difficult, the Helper would say to them “HAVE FAITH - YOU CAN DO IT”. These children were delighting in the challenges, they were so keen to learn and grow. They would listen to instructions when things were difficult, and with great eagerness they would set out to do what was asked of them with great determination and strength. Help never left their side, and they trusted every word of the Teacher and the Helper.
The adult kept trying to stand up, but couldn’t, so he called out, “please help me.” A child ran over and helped the adult to stand up and said “HE HEARD YOUR CRIES FOR HELP, NOW COME BE LIKE A CHILD, YOU HAVE THE KEY” and then ran off with great joy, calling out to the adult “HAVE FAITH! YOU CAN DO IT!” The adult tried again to walk, but this time the Teacher came over. “Would you like some help” He asked? The adult responded, “I don’t understand why it’s so hard for me to walk and move forward or even stand.” The Teacher took the adult by the hand and said “are you ready to try again? I’ll help you walk, I’ll show you, IF YOU JUST HAVE FAITH AND TRUST ME.”
The adult took the Teacher by the hand, listening to every instruction. Gaining strength, together they started to walk, then run! The adult was filled with laughter, as joy and delight started to fill him. The Teacher led him over to the children and they all came running with great joy to see who was once an adult in chains, but had now become like a child, filled with faith and set free.
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through FAITH—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Eph 2:8-10 TPT.
RISE UP WITH CHILDLIKE FAITH
The Lord says “I’m calling My sons and daughters to RISE UP WITH CHILDLIKE FAITH and be the child I have called you to be. I long to teach you and shape you into who I created you to be! I am not calling you to come as “adults”, for an adult is someone who is already fully grown and developed. This makes them more unteachable, unchangeable, and stubborn in their ways, and the bondages of this world will keep them in chains.“
“For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will. That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God.” Romans 8:8 TPT.
MY MATURE CHILDREN WILL BE MY GREATEST WITNESS.
“I am calling you My child. For I will use those who are willing, eager and fully trusting, FULL OF FAITH. I want to make you a MATURE CHILD - TEACHABLE, FILLED WITH FAITH, FULLY TRUSTING ME IN ALL THINGS AS I GUIDE AND DIRECT YOU THROUGH LIFE. Such children will be MY GREATEST WITNESS of My love and power on this Earth! Come to Me. Let me teach you to walk again, to run into the fullness of all I have for you. HAVE FAITH MY CHILD. TRUST IN ME.”
“The mature children of God are those who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit. And you did not receive the “spirit of religious duty,” leading you back into the fear of never being good enough. But you have received the ‘Spirit of full acceptance’, enfolding you into the family of God. And you will never feel orphaned, for as He rises up within us, our spirits join Him in saying the words of tender affection, “Beloved Father!” For the Holy Spirit makes God’s fatherhood real to us as He whispers into our innermost being, “You are God’s beloved child!” Romans 8:14-16 TPT
