“Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” Colossians 3:1-2 NIV
I saw the hand of the Lord coming down from heaven and He was calling out for us to climb on. As I did, I heard Him say "I hold you and your future in My hand". Then as we were soaring in His glory, held in the palm of His hand, we were gaining territory - Kingdom changing territory on Earth. I lay back resting in Him and He continued to draw my heart and eyes to look up.
As I did, I saw scenes unfolding in my life on Earth. The deeper I was prepared to look up, the more I saw God at work in my life, the more He was able to use me. Others who were held in the palm of His hand were also experiencing the same, however there were some who wanted to peer over the side of His hand and look down at their life. They were a bit unsure about what they were seeing above them. They wanted to look down to see in the flesh what their life looked like.
The moment they did look down, the flesh took over and the scenes in the Heavens paused and they found themselves out of the palm of His hand. Just as I was about to ask God about this, I heard Him say, "I have not called you to look down, don't look to the things of this world for confirmation or reassurance... Look up to Me". Then I noticed others were climbing back on to His hand and as they did, their Heavenly scene above them came off pause and again they were soaring and God was moving them swiftly to make up for lost time.
When we look down, we delay, we loose territory, we miss out and others miss out on experiencing God and receiving from Him! Climb on His hand today and soar with Him!
